Wintternal "Will" Review

On October 4th, 2013 melodic death metal band Wintternal released the single "Will" (wintternal.bandcamp.com/track/will) although months old this will be today's subject.

"Will" changes pace multiple times throughout the song and with the intense instrumentals that the band brings, clever placements of many different riffs and easy to follow yet meaningful lyrics its hard to find anything bad to say about this single. With 6 minutes of "band your fuckin head" metal what more can you really say, in the music it is easy to hear influences from many bands that you can clearly dipict for yourself. The band puts you in the point of view of a character, probably a child or teenager with ignorant parents, with lyrics such as "face your creation / I'm not the enemy," the listening starts to question what this character has been put through. Not being the first time you follow a character Wintternal are becoming masters of concept albums after this and their first EP "The Monologue" (check it out at wintternal.bandcamp.com/album/the-monologue). All around with well done timing and seeing as its a 6 minute track that at no point gets anywhere near boring I highly suggest you check this out and I hope to hear more from this band and more about this character they have created in "Will" all in all 9/10 keep up the good work guys!

P.S. I appologize for any spelling that is wrong! I'm only human.... Sorta.
